Britains Got Tallent Tour

Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) was host to the 2009 Britains Got Tallent Tour. The Daily Echo contacted Robert because of this skill at capturing events in low light. Using the long reach of his lens and skill behind the camera, he was able to shoot from the sound desk (approx 80 feet from the stage) and still get tight shots of the 2 acts he was allowed to shoot.

                             

Canford School - Oliver

The last play of the academic year was Oliver. A much more colourful performance which was able to be captured with Robert's skill behind the camera.

                                                                                         

Canford School - 1984

Impressed with Roberts Priory shots. The marketing dept. asked him back to cover their 6th Form play of George Orwell's 1984. Robert managed to capture the spirit of the play even with the tricky lighting.

                                         

Canford School - Christchurch Priory

Canford School marketing department needed someone to capture their concert held every 2 years at Christchurch Priory. Being an important event, they turned to Robert because of his expertise in low light event photography.
The music department now has a 50 inch panoramic print hanging pride of place.

                                  

Phoenix Rising

An Airsoft event at Sennybridge in Wales. 150 players had the pleasure of using this army training facility for the weekend where Russian ultra-nationalists had captured scientists and were using them to develop some biochemical weapons.

                                   

Town Assault 4

An Airsoft event at Copehill Down based in Salisbury – Europe’s Largest Urban Village for training the Army. 250 Airsoft Players had the pleasure of using half of the village to play a weekend skirmish of EU Coalition vs Ukrainian rebel insurgents.

                                      

Concerts

Of all the types of photography ever invented, live concert photography is up there among the most difficult ones. You have fans behind you, and there is a band in front of you. Nobody stands still. Moshers will punch and slam into you. The lighting is never bright enough, and changes so frequently that you’re stuffed even in the few moments that it is!
